Folks, Though we all are Xtians, certain things that exists or is trying to exist, shouldn't be. In a local news this afternoon, it was reported that security men in Christ Embassy Church, Ikeja, Lagos, beat to nonsense two journalists (hitting all round their bodies and head with objects that one fainted) who wanted to take a picture of the church building. Unfortunately, they never did before these guys pounced on them. Police later arrested those men. Possibilities: * There must be other Men-Of-God (resident pastors) around who must have seen the brutality but kept quite until things went out of hand. * Since the place is a house of God, other worshippers must be around also and watched with keen interest. This is not a castigation, but to put things in order. We should know the kind of people we keep around the church axis. Some people can tarnish the image of the Church, and they are not concerned because they never know Christ, to talk of believing. Thanks all. |
