Propositional logic is a subset of mathematical logic that is concerned with unambiguous sentences that can either be true or false but not both. Its also called Sentential Logic, Sentential Calculus, Sentential Logic, Propositional Calculus. In propositional logic we will be concerned only with logic that we are concerned with mathematical logic only at the sentential level. We will pick a sentence and verify if its true or false without going deep into each sentence to check the meaning of each sentence. We are just interested in their truthValue. The truth value of a sentence is what it results to - true or false. Then we are going to be going further to check the truth value of a sentence that serves as a conclusion to previous sentences (premises) by checking the truth value of the previous sentences.
