WHEN YOU FINALLY GAIN YOUR ADMISSION

Though the niche of my blog do not permit me to write on educationmetimes you just have to go against protocol to get some things right. Without wasting much of your time, i will want to draw your attention to somethings using the hashtag #whenyoufinallygainyouradmission.#

The dream of every jambites is to be admitted to a very prestigious university. Though some due to one reason or the other, don't end up in universities. Rather they settle for polytechnics and college of education. But nevertheless, they are all students, they all want to learn. But unfortunately, many after been given admission, they lose focus. Maybe due to one reason or the other. They were not as zealous as they were before . Now join me in looking as some of those things fresher's should not and should do when just gaining admission

1) when you finally gain your admission : Do not be eager to impress. There are some sets of students that before they were admitted, they already have an idea of what an institution is. Such students may have attended a particular Polytechnic or the other which makes them have a pre knowledge of what they would be taught in school. Believe me, pressures attached to learning differs from one institution to another. The beauty of it is that, some of these students, always want make use of the advantage they have over others just to impress, specifically opposite sex which is not suppose to be so.

2) when you finally gain your admission : Ignore any form of immature relationship. When i mean relationship, i don't mean between your friends alone, i mean a boy and girl relationship. Due to the advancement in age, and different opportunities that youths gets nowadays, they venture into unsafe, unprofitable, and immature relationship. Though some may think that they have the mental, physical and emotional ability to cope with such. But as time goes on, venturing into relationship while studying affects their progress, in fact some ladies if i may say end up having unwarranted pregnancy. Now tell me, even if you have the financial ability to take of a baby while studying, do you also have the mental ability to combine both the responsibility of taking care of the baby and facing your studies? Guys also, stay away from ladies that will contribute to your failure. According to God during the time of creation,woman is supposed to be a helper. But when a woman now becomes a liability or a contributor to your downfall, then you definitely need to check yourself.

3) when you finally gain your admission : Try and be yourself, i will want to include these cause majority of students do a lot of copying. They want to do what others are doing, wear what others are wearing, eat what others are eating. Even when they know that they are not physically, mentally, financially, emotionally capable of doing such. Just be yourself! If others are playing and you feel like reading, please do. If others wear latest brands of clothes and accessories such as Versace, Jordan smiths e.t.c and you are only capable of palm sandals, yaba bend down select please wear it. At least you covered your unclothedness. Do not in any way possible try and copy what others do.

4) when you finally gain your admission : Cultivate the habit ofeading. As i was taught in GNS 101, we have different reading skills and studying habits. Some are specialist in mounting notes and hand outs before they sit down and insert it into their brain at once. While some on the other end, are only talented in reading notes and materials immediately they get them. Which ever category you may find yourself, the main purpose is to read an understand, and anything short of that is unacceptable.

5) when you finally gain your admission : Remember the GOD that made it possible, some people only know God when they are seeking for something, Immediately they get their hands on that thing, they forget GOD totally. If you don't know, there is something called Grace, Mercy and Favour. Anyone who these three things work for will succeed where others fail, and he will always stand out among his colleagues.
