The windows 10, has a very fast start ups, and also resumes very fast. It has enough inbuilt security mechanism to protect your system fro virus attacks. So you can always use it with other software and hardware you already.

Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System Requirement.

For you to be able to have this new microsoft windows 10, you should have at least 16GB of free space so that you can install windows 10 on your PC. If you want to check how much space are left on your PC, go to your computer, right click C:/ drive and do select properties. If the space on your hard disk is too much and you want to delete some or all of them, all you need do is simply click on the " Disk cleanup" button.

A better option is that you uninstall some of the programmes you no longer use. Because the cleaning method wont be free up enough space for windows.
