Plus i need ur advice i want to get a tokunbo car from a dealer in Akure but i am also staying there will i have to change all keylocks and ignition after purchase.cos its possible the keep a spare key and come some months for the car again(stealing it away)

Has our system degenerated to that extent?

In that case, why not install a security system of which the major functions and logic rely on the remote. . Atleast without pressing a given code on the remote the car won't function normal while opening or starting manually with key.

Although, I do not know the type of car in question, but atimes touching your ignition key system may cost you your car brain box.

Whichever ways, If you are not comfortable with the dealer, save yourself the stress and look for another car elsewhere.
