I’m a son so Prodigal
In other climes, I am viewed as a
Radical
And because of fear, I become a
Prisoner.
In short; a born Sinner.

Filled with so much low self Esteem,
I walk through the much talked about
Valley.
The one where the shadow of death is
King;
Carrying so much baggage of Ruins and
Burdens.

Frustration and despair feast on my
Fears,
Even the Atlantic sea can not wash
away the current of my Tears.
How much of these can I Bear?
Anger ripped through me.
Even addiction lured me into her Lair

And then I saw Wolves,
Running towards me in Droves;
And I looked up, filled with Hope;
They’ve come to kill me and take me
Home.

I must have been Hallucinating;
Because the pack stopped Running,
The Alpha came in all Royalty,
Scars and wounds so obviously Glaring.
And then it hit Me.

Even with the battles and the War,
He stood Strong.
Now at that point of giving Up,
I remembered that special Word,
Said by the Virgin’s Son,
In that book of the evangelist; John.
I staggered and stood Tall;
And roared with Vigour;
I am……..god!!!!
