AKPOZY:
6 friends wants to go into a business whose start up capital is #400,000. Mr. A, B, C, D, E and F offered to invest #90,000, #120,000, #40,000, #45,000, #60,000 and #45,000 respectively. When profit start coming in, how will it be shared in proportion to amount invested?
A= 90,000
B= 120,000
C= 40,000
D= 45,000
E= 60,000
F= 45,000
Total is 400,000.
A contributed 90,000/400,000 which is 22.5%
B contributed 120,000/400,000 which is 30%
C contributed 40,000/400,000 which is 10%
D contributed 45,000/400,000 which is 11.25%
E contributed 60,000/400,000 which is 15%
F contributed 45,000/400,000 which is 11.25%
Total adds up to 100%.

So ceteris paribus, A should get 22.5% of profits; B should get 30%, C should get 10%, etc.
