Hi all in the house. Please, I have problem with one printer. This printer is HP All-In-One printer. So, each time I power it on, it will display "Ready", but if I press "Copy" button or I send any document from the system, it will pick the paper. But when it is about to start printing on the paper, it will just display "Paper Jam".

Though, I'm an Engineer but I have tried all I could (like dis-assembled the printer and checking any strang thing or broken part in the printer) but the printer did not work yet.

Please, anyone with usefull information should please, please, and please help me out because I'm almost fed up with this printer

This might be a little tricky so be catre ful when u try it.

Insert your hand into the printer, poke the front and poke all the levers and move things around a bit. U'll hear a sound like a stuck switch and poking them normaly frees them up.

The problem may also have been caused by a dirty sensor. Disconnect from power supply, open the printer and clean everything. You may use toilet paper (Risky so be careful not to leave fragments of toilet paper inside the printer). Any other clean and soft material dat won't leave;particles is preferable.

I hope this solve it.

I tried all those, yet, it doesn't work. I need more help please.

In my own experience what causes paper jam are
1. Paper, people dont really suspect this cos if the paper is too thin i.e too light in thickness it causes paper jam. Some papers packet are sold for 500 naira which usually is of good quality and some are sold for 350 naira which causes paper jam.
2. Low voltage (low current).
3. Bad paper feed.
4.dirty sensor (which you said you've cleaned)

Try using a konqueror paper or try pring with may cardboard you may also re-install the device driver (i dont thik its the problem but just to erase the possibilty of being the one)

This all-in-one printer always complain of "paper jam" after it picked the paper. But when this printer pick the paper, it will pick it in such a way that the print head will be at the middle of the paper that it picked (i.e, it will pick the paper and will not print anything on the paper. And this paper will almost out, without that printer print anything on it), and when the paper is almost halfway out, it will then stop and display "paper jam" message on its display.

Please, help me out of this.
