Saying this though, if you are a lady who folllows the "calender method" of contraception, you would know when you are safe and when to abstain from sex, and besides there are ovulation kits that can predict pregnancy from conception nowadays.

ok so first a woman can only get pregnant during her ovulation period. thats when she release a mature egg that travels from her ovaries to her fallopian tube. if she has sex at that period and sperm is release inside of her, it is possible that one of the millions of spermatozoid will fertilize that egg/ovum. not all sperm reach the fallopian tube where the ovum is located, some get tired and just give up right in the vagina, other give up in the uterus. an ovum can live for about 24/72hrs while a sperm can live for about 5 to 7 days inside the women's body (do the math!!!!)
first it takes a few hrs for the sperm to get from the vagina to the fallopian tube to meet and fertilize the said egg/ovum.
second even when the egg is fertilize, the lady is not technically pregnant yet.
third it will take another 6/7days for the fertilized egg(now called embryo) to go and attach itself to the uterus.
fourth it is only when the embryo implants itself in the uterus(roughly about 7/9days after the initial ovulation) that the womens body will produce the necessary hormones called human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), that is used to give a positive pregnancy test.
fifth: each pregnancy test are different in detecting HCG in the urine but none can be positive before that time (7/9days after ovulation) not even blood test.

so as you can see, it is impossible for a women to have a positive pregnancy test after 4 days, i m p o s s i b l e.
