I contacted an indian company to build exactly freelancer and they said $4000 after a lot of negotiations. so i dropped the idea.

I was thinking , if I want to employ someone to build a platform like freelancer and fiverr where people do online works and get hired , and also look for people to work online for them. Like how much are we talking about here to build such a platform?

It's all dependent on what your features are. Cost of building a freelance website starts anywhere from 100k and above.
