The beginning


There are words

Which has caused wars

And even more

which promote evil lore

But Nothing is so damaging as

that one word

Which has sown discord

Violence


My eyes dim at the sight

My soul cowers behind the light

The people, uncaring and

unknowing

Continue fighting.


I don't know what to say

There is no cost I can't pay

All to keep the shouting at a minimum

Perhaps once in a millenium


Violence is meant for the lower

animals

For man, it should be minimal

A rare occurence

An unpleasant senesence


I tire of seeing the after-effects

My mind cries at the birth defects

All due to some man's arrogance

And another mans "brilliance"



I do not want to wander

So as to commit a slander

Even a grammatical blunder

Is enough to make me wonder:
