Good morning Engineer.
So I finally went down to get my laptop home since I don't have the cash for the board yet.
On getting there, I discovered the engineer couldn't even recognize me or my laptop. I told him I'm the person he's been speaking to on the phone. He brought out another system out and told me the same thing he's been telling me on the phone (which was the motherboard issue). I told him that wasn't my system. I finally saw my system packed in a drawer. It was then I discovered that he's been telling me about another system all along.

When I pointed my system, he said and I quote "this your system na one IC burn inside, you go buy am 7k".

Now my problem is not that I can't afford the 7k, my fears are

1. Three different engineers couldn't detect this problem, how sure am I that this thing will work?
2. This very engineer is preoccupied with too much work, how am I sure he's not mistaken my system for another?

What do you think?

I'm just stucked right now but I definitely would want to go into data analysis.

May be because it's related to my course, but I don't think I have the passion.

Pass that idea to the OP, or create a thread and pour out that idea. Someone might just buy the idea and even ask you to manage the business or run a partnership, who knows?


Or better still, nurture it, prepare a business plan, register the business name, and source for funding. There are many financial institutions that can give you a loan. Take a loan if you're so sure about that idea, ( although I wouldn't advice that)

"Lack of funds" is one of the commonest and lamest excuses I always come across from people.

Anytime I see a thread about people asking what business to do, I always rush to view the thread thinking I will see something great. But 9 times out of 10, it's nothing great. It's either POS business, laundry business, car wash, barbing shop, etc. Like I said earlier, all these jobs will give you a fair pay, but I doubt if you'll want your kids to grow up and inherit such businesses.

NB; I'm no motivational speaker, I don't even have a job. In fact i'm a broke guy, but that's just because I don't have any great idea yet. When I do, funding wouldn't be my problem.

While they can earn you reasonable amount of cash, it still doesn't change the fact that it all boils down to lack of vision and ideas. I'm also guilty of this. We lack ideas in this country and that's the major cause of unemployment.

Not everyone will be fortunate to work in the cooperate world, true! But everyone can set up a "formal" hustle that can make you wear that suit and tie.

We only need one great idea.

I want to know the problem with my laptop.
The charging port was faulty, It charges whenever I plug in the charger but I will have to keep adjusting the charger until I place it in a certain way. Finally, it stopped charging.

I took it for repair here in Abuja and complained about charging port.

The problem now is that the changing port was changed but my system doesn't come up whenever it is powered on.

It indicates charging but it doesn't come up.

The engineer said the problem is from the board. But for two weeks, he can't seem to fix the problem or make a recommendation.

What do you think is the problem of the system/board? Is the board gone?

Meaning he's not looking for companion but a cook that will not burn his pot. Where devil will settle his case is to give him his type (someone who burns food) as a wife.
