Aribisala and his hatred for Buhari is like bread and butter.
Why is he shunning the issue of the budget mafia whose job it is to pad already padded budgets over the years.
These are top civil servants whom we expect should do their jibs diligently.

This man is a doomist.
He has never proferred any solution but always predicting things to go worse.
It has already moved from bad to worst for him and he can remain in that state and watch Nigeria and Nigerians move forward.

All he does is criticize Buhari and APC out of hatred and pain that his jesus on earth= the ineffectual buffoon called Jonathan lost woefully at the polls

Nigeria is facing an economic crises today because of the massive pillaging of our public finance under the otueke drunkard.

I will take the failed academic seriously when he provides any meaningful solutions

Not everyone hates PMB.

Let's leave the messenger, and scrutinize the message...

Nigerians, brace up for more troubles and hardships. When you chose Buhari as your president, it was a subliminal message that you were passing that indeed you are ready for judgement. Buhari represents judgement, brace up and face yiur woes like men, una never start, una never jam grin

I guess this govt Is what Minister of Power, Babatunde Fashola ironically referred to as "a painful pill Nigerians had to swallow." We are people that have deliberately refused to learn from our past. Nigerians went to the polls and voted this "Fraudulently corrupt govt of APC" into power; so, we have to learn to deal with the situation.
Perhaps, next time we will learn not to replace a one time adulterous wife to an outright prostitute and expects a relative peace.

So when the house of reps and senate were hailing it as a budget of change I guess the "budget mafia" hadn't struck?

What I know is that APC & Buhari will soon run out of excuses.

Blaming GEJ has also become very lame now.

People talk of "body language" inspiring fear and bringing change.

If common civil servants could have the audacity to smuggle billions into a document/budget going to Buhari's own table, to be presented to Nigerians, senate and the world for scrutiny, then the body language is weaker than a counterfeit Hausa Lofinda. grin grin cheesy

Fact is some poor civil servants are being made scapegoat.

Is it that the government has no expert or special assistants on economy/budget to peruse such a vital document before presentation? shocked

When you read many of the responses here, you get to see why Nigeria doesn't deserve any better than she's getting. We are a failed people. Imagine people specialising in ad hominem insults on someone while pointedly refusing to address whatever points they raised - points responsible for their very sorrow. It means they deserve to live in that sorrow ad infinitum. E don tay that I've said Nigeria is a joke. As always, there's never a "leader"/"follower" dichotomy, it's always one people that make up a nation and determine how that nation will look like. I've prayed that Buhari shd be elected so that this point will be proven that it is not one president that determines the destiny of a country. The fact that I said so is on record and I'm glad I've proved it. Black man is a blight on humanity

Another long epistle from a pained crook who has been blocked from dipping his crooked fingers into our national cookie jar. We sane hard working nigerians still have unflinching support for our able presido.

The budget was definitely a fluke and it was padded heavily by civil servants. Those are the sort of stuffs you experience as a newly elected government. Constructively, we should criticize the government and proffer solutions to avoid such next time. The failure of this government is dangerous for our Country sad . STOP THE SILLY POLITICS.
Padding has been going on for years without anyone raising an eyebrow.
the easy money was joyfully shared....thank God the crooked civil servants have now been exposed

Aribisala is a doomist.
Let him profer solutions like every Nigerian who truly wants us to be better as a people and a nation.
If he is perfect let him come out and say so and if he is not, then we are open to being better.
Under the man he is vehemently protecting we didn't see any perfection but rot and I didn't see anywhere Buhari said he is perfect.
If Nigeria goes down we won't be left out of it. The evil minded ones are always playing this hatred card instead of them to make contributions that will better the nation.

So Femi Aribisala knows that “the buck stops with the president.” So when people were criticising GEJ for the way he was managing the economy and giving free hand to people to loot the nation dry and his ineptitude to governance, same him was abusing people that it was not GEJ making. How can the so-called 'man of God' be speaking with both mouth and not be man to his words. He forgot so soon what the Bible says that every man shall be snare to his words. Whoever takes this man serious must be suffering from unidentified ailment worse than Zika and Lassa Fever. This is the same man that have not find it worthy to say anything about the mind shocking revelation emanating from the Dasukigate and you expect right thinking person to take his words as bond, no. The only people that would take this serious are the Abobakus.

Reserve your morronic, immbecilic and nonsensical sermon for your buddy who ignored the message of the thread and instead decided to go off on a tangent dishing out useless insults aimed at the author for the mere fact that he disliked him.
Your epistle is barren and completely useless to me, because I will not bother reading it.
Please, get lost already.
Young boi, there's nothing your thin god Femi Aribisala can bring out now through his ill-prepared message that can earn him any accolade except the accolade from the Abobakus like you. If he has been vocal and telling same truth to GEJ, the nation would have been better off today. What annoyed me must is his words “the buck stops with the president.” He now know that the buck stops at the president's desk. When in 2014 that GEJ's government told us as a country to prepare for austerity, what did Aribisala says? When GEJ dollarised the 2015, what did Aribisala says? When Boko Haram were ravaging the nation, what did Aribisala says? When GEJ was giving his lieutenants free hands loot the nation dry, what did Aribisala says? When GEJ was shielding his ministers from investigation, what did Aribisala says? When GEJ went dancing skelewu in Kano, a day after bomb blast, what did Aribisala says?
Young boi, all of us cannot be Abobakus but some of us could be Zombies. Femi Aribisala has sold his conscience to the devil and has lost the locus standi to say anything that a sane mind can read viable meaning to except the Abobakus like you. If Aribisala has been man enough to speak the truth when it matter MOST, the country would have been better off today. If you meet Aribisala, tell him he has not say anything that desire back pat from sane minds except from his crony of Abobakus.

Montaque:
I just want to comment on the sacked VC's.
As far back as 1985, the supreme court in Olaniyan vs Unilag defined the position of university lecturers and staffs whose office enjoys statutory flavour, such that there us a laid down procedure for their sack and hire. they are not like other employee that u can sack at will. We are expected to build up on that with further cases of the unillorin 49 lecturers in 2005 and other similar cases.
But more than 30 years after this precedent had been laid, and the due process cemented, pmb has taken us back to the hay days. That he can just wake up one morning to sack university chancellors without consulting the uni council nor following the Act setting up those institutions. its worth our tears.
Nigerian student should be alarmed, (even if u don't like some bad lecturers n staffs).
Let us know that not to follow due process is the chief of all corruption in Nigeria. we need strOng institution, not strong men.
