ARSENAL'S IWOBI SUFFERS FROM FOOD
POISONING WHILE ON NIGERIA DUTY
The Gunners' teenage starlet has been
hospitalised in the Nigerian capital
Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi has
been hospitalised after suffering from
food poisoning while on international
duty with Nigeria.
The 19-year-old was too ill to train with
his team-mates in the capital city, Abuja,
ahead of this week's African Cup of
Nations qualifier against Egypt.
Nigeria coach Samson Siasia confirmed
the news on Tuesday in a press
conference.
He said: "[Iwobi] suffered from food
poisoning and so was not part of the
training, but his condition is stable."
