3/5 of students in the school are boys, if 10 more girls join the school, the fraction of boys becomes 29/30,how many girls are now in the school. |

Wrong question. Initially, the fraction of girls= 1-(3/5) = 2/5 now 10 girls joined only for the fraction of girls to reduce to 1-(29/30)= 1/30. I.e an increase in the population of girls led to a decrease in fraction of girls! 1 Like |
