As people begin to face hardship, Touts and miscreants are not also left out in the Hardship and so others means are been devised day by day.

A story was relayed to me of a Lady who innocently entered a public bus at that area(Shitta) to CMS. According to her, one person was at the passengers sit beside the driver while another two persons were at the back sit. she entered the bus and was sitted at the immediate back of the driver sit. As they went on 4 other persons joined at the next bus stops.

When it was time to collect Tfare she paid certain amount and demanded for her balance (A.k.a Change) Immediately one shouted at her to keep quiet and immediately ordered she sits on the floor while the bus was still on motion. During the process others forcefully collected her bag and phones and started asking for her ATM card and pin of which she kept quiet. one other person told her to keep quiet and showed her a syringe telling her he will inject her if she doesnt comply. one other person was shouting he has a gun and he would waste her if care isnt taken.

At that time they closed the door of the bus but were still calling for passengers in order not to create suspicion.
They got to a point where police were on patrol. but tactically slowed down while trying to hold her and cover her mouth incase she shouts.
Thereafter one of them after threatening her collected her ATM wth d Pin and dropped while the bus zoomed off. They Bus got to a place around Yaba Waec and waited for the other Guy to make withdrawals. they withdrew all d money in her Account which was quite a lump sum

On confirming the withdrawals through her phone they gave back all her belongings including her phone and even told her she is lucky there was money in the account or else she would have been wounded.
They dropped her in a street around Waec Yaba. At this time it was around 6:00a.m when dia plate number cannot be easily seen.

Lesson is

-Watch the Bus you board. Most attimes touts will never be neatly dressed their eyes looks droppy, Bus would look dark etc.
-Watch d arrangement of the sitting of passengers in a vehicle.
-Avoid carrying ATM cards with large cash around unecessarily if possible get another Bank Account for small withdrawals only.
-Trust your instinct.
-Never be in a hurry to board public vehicle except its in a broad day light and there are several commuters in the same route with you.
