Bumken your attitude sucks and I say it with love.
The first thing anyone will tell you when you want to learn is to be HUMBLE.
It does not matter if the person teaching you is arrogant as long as you know this person has something you need.
Humility is key in all we do in life.
You want to learn a skill that is hard and you are already throwing insults meanwhile this is a skill that takes time and commitment and is hard to master and there are ppl who are willing to guide you so that your path to learning is easier and you don't have to make common mistakes made by others and this is how you will respond at the slightest provocation.
Now I see why professional programmers look down on newbies.
Dhtml was pulling your legs and you flared up.
Worse still you did not even bother to even make the correction to the heading.
Humility is key.
If your prof under his guidance will make you a wizard in your chosen career but he is arrogant stay humble and achieve first cos tomorrow nobody remembers a looser and the people who are supporting you will not defend you and say "the reason why he did not succeed was because his prof or teacher was arrogant.no be you wan learn?
I rest my hands from typing on my phone which can be a pain.
Cheers
Na waooo. That guy is not my teacher. I only posted the stuff awaiting feedback just to have his comment for which I responded according. Go through the posts and see where I corrected the missing word which I thought as an alleged expert should had been able fill the gap rather than make fun of it publicly. Besides, Why are u guys making it seems as if he's assigned to lecture and I misbehaved.

We are here to help each other with vital information not to make fun of it for we are professionals in our respect fields.

Mak una free me ooo. ask him if he's my teacher yet. we never reached any deal and what does humbleness got to do with it. Perhaps, he's my teacher or the one feeding me. Na waoooooooooo.

You don't use that word pulling my legs. Does he know to be friendly with such joke as you implied it. That if he's an expert that has being working with professional clients. You don't meet people first time and mess it up believing you have what exist in a one and thousand ways out there. Just be a professional in all you and never take anything for granted. Just which I should go this far cos perhaps you don't understand it

shows the following:
1. You believe that I am unfriendly.
2. You believe that I am unprofessional
3. You believe that a forum is not a place to relax, and have fun
4. You believe that my skills are not exceptional
5. You call me an alleged expert, shows you do not accept

Well, here is what i have to say to you:
1. You have misjudged my character, i might be a troll but i am friendly (do your research)
2. I am more professional than you think - my corporate clients and those that know me on NL can testify to that.
3. I believe in relaxation, all work and no play makes dhtml18 a dull boy
4. My skills are very much exceptional, and not every tom, dick and harry that call themselves a programmer can match my skills. Of course, there are better programmers than me out there - as i am still a learner (that is why i scour the NET for information all the time)
5. I am an expert, in every sense of the word - you cant beat that (at least not yet).

You claimed to have spent over N150,000 to learn programming (which does not surprise me), and yet you do not know it. Has it ever occurred to you that the attitude you are showing here portray you as a person that cannot really submit to apprenticeship. You need to follow your master about, and do yessir a bit - but you strike me as an arrogant person that cannot do something like that (i might be wrong).

The one and only person that can claim to be my programming master was a very rude, silly and arrogant son-of-a-b.i.tch, but i never insulted him till date. I made sure I learnt all i could from him, and today I am more of an expert than he is.

If i have looked at his character, and left him alone, only God knows if i will have been the programmer that i am today.

My best advice for you is to learn using online resources (like someone stated above), and not to get anyone to teach you.
