#BlameItNotOnTheVillains

Blame upon blames are now fast becoming a new Nigerian order. Never hesitating to wish it away; because it's always easier to do.
And who said there's no quick fixes to every problem?
#just blame it on the villain already!
After all...
It's easier to be right, than to be righteous.
It's easier to pull the i-am-a-responsible-guy charade, than to actually shoulder responsibility.
It's easier to think up blames, than to think up solutions.
It is easier to travel the miles down the past, than to lift the curtain close by that opens to the future.

See...we all know that the blame game has become so stale; yet what baffles me is that, the blame game industry has never suffered from redundancy, massive layoffs or even unemployment. This industry boasts of top shots with intimidating CVs as recruits even down to suckling infants whose job description is to blame their eyes for not producing enough tears to induce their mother's breasts to produce more breast milk.

Funny huh?
Seriously you shouldn't even laugh at that; what is even more funny is when you hear some folks say things like, "I blame myself for not blaming anyone for my problems".
And I'm like, did I just hear you say 'for my problems'? YOUR problems and you want to drag others into it?...gosh!
I tell you, the Nigeria of today is home to blames, and I fear that if nothing is done urgently about this trend, it may eventually metamorphose into a way of life.

Here is my message...and I will say it in #BenBruce's voice....

Please play your role and accept the responsibilities that fall on your shoulders - no handing them down,no deflecting them and no passing them over.
#The villains have been victims for long
#Blame it not on the villains
