How can one improve cocoa & Kolanut yields? Does Soil type & low nutrients affect cocoa & kolanut yields?

Asking on behalf of someone. Both are planted together & d plants are suffering from termites DT kill many of them especially cocoa trees.

Throughout a whole year, most of d kolanut & cocoa trees won't produce at all.

Partly yes!!! Much flower, one, two or no fruit at all. Then some don't produce flower at all.

What can one do to address d issue of soil effect on d farmland & d cocoa plantation. Imagine, a piece of farmland left fallowed for over 15 years, if cultivated now, it'll not yield anything. So, d low fertility of d land may be responsible for d low yields on cocoa & kola too.

@eniorisha I will advice u to do the soil test of ur farm wen de result is out u can now know de nutrient deficiency in ur farm land and what to use to resolve the issue once and for all
