I felt very happy with what i experienced today in one of the cathedral church in Europe. I was on tour, taking pictures around the church until i got to a point where many people cued up at the entrance of one of the buildings within the church premises . At first, i thought may be they were there for registration or something else until i decided to make inquiry. To my greatest suprised, i was told that it is where people that can't afford to buy food comes to have their lunch everyday. I decided to per take so that i can verify it myself.
The picture below is what the church serves the poor ones everyday And i began to wonder why our own churches in Nigeria finds it fun in scaming us without even giving us a dime in return or even contribute in helping the needy ones. And the greatest of it is that no church in europe ask for tithes. Just the little cents they do collect as offerings

Don't worry OP, God will change the hearts of Nigerians to serve their fellow instead of their pastor. That way, Naija peeps would rally round their fellow brothers and sisters rather than use their money to buy favour of the church and their pastors.

Churches in Europe lives on donations, missionaries came to Nigeria and established schools with donated money. The people donating are happy when their donations are being put to purposeful use. Even the peperson in charge of the money would agree to walk down to where the need was and fulfill it.

For naija, donations are not enough cos there are very few willing donors apart from politicians who are ready to part with the money to but some reputation, so the church start to force people with threats. When they have the money, they use I to expand the church building to accommodate money tithers, make Papa and Mama comfortable, build a school which no one will question how the school fees are utilized

Wish Nigerian churches would learn and put their ill gotten money to good use rather than buying jets for daddy GOs

Meanwhile, the worlds richest pastors are Nigerians.

I trust nigerians!!!!, doing that in nigeria will cause another allegation like the man of God is using the food to bewitch people and op you are going to be the first to condemn it.

a clear concience fears no accusations. If they start it. It will only take some few months while other churches will learn from them after criticism.

I think t.b joshua is doing more tangible charity than giving out lunch and why other churches don't follow suit?.
