And u want to blame Mtn for ur lack of understanding? Mtn said recharge above 500 naira and u recharged 500, this is not above 500. Mtn wow weekend still works, I just recharged 550 and I got my free 1gb.

Also I was at techplus even yesterday and Mtn agents were sharing a pamphlet, get 7gb for just 2,000 naira. I've not tried it but will try it after I exhaust my data.

Recharge above 500. It could be 510, 520 550, etc. I just recharged 550 and I got my free 1gb.

At least ur credit is not wasted, it is still there. I normally recharge from my account so I can recharge any amount , but if u are buying cards then u have to recharge 600. Then at the end of the weekend if u have up to 2,000 u can use it to get 7gb by texting 2016 to 131.

I recharged exactly N500 last weekend via mtn vtu and I got the 1gb bonus. This isn't mathematics, recharge above 500 inclines all recharges from, 500 and above in this case. Do you expect them to say recharge above N499? come on

I don't see the need for the insult. As u can see from my screenshot i got the free 1gb and I am still going to recharge another 550 when I finish this 1gb. The instruction clearly says recharge above 500 and not recharge 500 and above. I don't see the need in recharging exactly 500 as ur credit will still be there for u to use for other things.

How were you planning to recharge 500 b4? As we all know, MTN doesn't have a N500 card. So it's mainly via e channels.

Perhaps last weekend's own was just luck.
They said, recharge 200 and above and get 100mb, then recharge above 500 to get 1gb. They didn't say 500 and above.

Glo offers 10gb at N2500 so MTN giving 7gb at 2k isn't out of ordinary. It's pretty much the trend now.

See where u are contradicting urself, recharge above 500 means from 501 and above. If they had said above 499 then it would be 500 and above.

No offence bro. And yes I've started using the bonus, as u can see from the screenshot , earlier I had 1023mb bonus, now I've used about 20mb. Waiting for 1pm so I can stream the man utd match.

I'm definitely going to try it. I still have 2gb plus on my line and I'm not sure if it will be added to my subscription or it will be wiped. That's the only thing keeping me, plus I need to enjoy all the free 1gb weekend data, then use the accumulated credit to subscribe. Nothing to lose.
