its really a. scam... it happened to me... even now.. after first subscription it stops at 10mb until i subscribe again... dats stealing from Airtel

it happened to me 2 nights ago, I wasted 100 dat night after multiple subscriptions without success.. am Switching back to Mtn

You are not alone in this. I also subscribed for 1.5g this morning but couldn't download anything with it till the time elapsed. In fact, this is the second time I'm experiencing this nonsense. I contacted customer care and I was told the issue will be resolved in 12hrs. I just tire for airtel

Na thunder go fire airtel, after stealing my 50 naira for 1.5 gig, 3g network disappear from my phone. Happen to me twice.

I experience this also especially when I subscribed a few minutes after 12, I wouldn't be able to browse after a few mins of doing the sub.
What I did was to sub around 1,2, or 3am, and if it stops browsing turn off your data and switch it back on until it continues to browse. I hope this helps.

It stops all together Bringing you their artel page that shows you have exhausted your data even after you have only just used 50mb.

Even restating the phone don't work unless you subscribe again.

Yea, I've also been a victim. The subscription time doesn't matter here.

I discovered that if you browse daily with the #50 plan, you'll be a victim.

I also discovered that this scam happens anytime I subscribe and browse with my modem. I haven't experienced the scam yet on phone and it seems the speed is faster with the phone than the modem. Makes me wonder if this is actually a mobile plan.

So far, I have deployed 2 tactics. Instead of losing #100, I will gain 2GB.

First, subscribe for the #25 plan which Airtel doesn't scam with. When you exhaust it, then subscribe for the #50 plan.

That gives you a total of 2GB for #75.

If you're using it on a modem, please revert to a phone then tether to your laptop.

Airtel nite plan is good cos i used it to upgrade my z2 to marshmallow. Almost 1.4g.

Just reboot or restart your phone, it happens to me too sometimes. I've been using this for days, and I'm well over 11GB. i think it involves authentication or something. if the problem persists, call the customer care, they'll resolve it. you would probably have to wait for like 15 minutes tho.

If you want to enjoy the Airtel Trybe 1.5 GB night plan, you have to subscribe for N25 plan for N500 first.. After that go ahead and subscribe for the 1.5GB N50 plan.

This will cost you N75 for 2GB!
