# Elele-Axis-Kidnappers-on-rampage
Just awhile ago, I was fortunate to escape well sophisticated
kidnappers who operated right in front of my car as I was
driving down to Port Harcourt from Owerri 2:36pm today. The
gun men shot a Sienna bus to a halt and whisked away some
of the occupants. This unfortunate incident happened at
Owerri-Port Harcourt express way..... Precisely, Elele Rivers
State. No day passes without a robbery or kidnap case on this
road..... The Elele axis.
I call on the law enforcement agents to urgently do
something about this Elele axis. Ironically, even with the
presence of heavily armed Police officers and Soldiers at
various check points, these day devils still operate with
impunity.... What more intelligence do you need to do the
needful. Commuters who ply this dangerous zone are hapless
on this route. Lots of kidnapp and robbery cases have been
recorded on this Elele Axis. The new IGP of Police should take
this flashpoint serious and arrest the ugly trend. This is too
bad!
The kidnapping scene today and successive gun shots is better
told than witnessed.
Thank God I was able to manoeuvre with my car and came
out unhurt. To God be the glory. Dem no go see me oooo.
