History becomes an example to the PRESENT DAY, when there is a need for us in the present to learn from the flaws and feats of the those in the past. History is the handle of the torchlight that points the direction of light into the future.

The present determines how the future will look, by first having an insight into the way the PAST was, and taking appropriate actions.
Check your historical background and you will know what has been done that should be undone, what ought to be done but left undone and what you should be doing that must be done well.
Who says the history of Africa is not the vehicle to the future of Africa? let such a person learn from the biblical history of the people of Jerusalem;
