Memories of the last incident flashed before my eyes, I couldn’t shake off this feeling ‘de ja vu’ it was happening again. Tears snaking its way down the mounds of my cheeks then down to lips, letting my tongue savor it’s salty zest, as I stared deep into his bloodshot eyes , those eyes emitting rays of fury, hate and jealousy, verily I say, if his eyes were medusa’s I would have been frozen right there like a monumental statue. We stood few feet away from each other like we were in a Mexican standoff. This eerie atmosphere overwhelmed me. I knew I wasn’t getting out of this without been pummeled. Then his lips moved, the sound his vocal chords gave up sent chills down my spine Boyfriend: Where have you been? Me: Honey, I………… Boyfriend: Please don’t even start, you think I don’t know where you went to? Do you think I’m a dummy? Eh! Answer me, are you deaf?
