One thing that really separates human beings from other animals is imagination.
We don’t just deal with life as it comes, we imagine things that don’t physically exist - money, countries, rules, titles, marriage, boarders, even the future and then we all agree to act like they are real.

That shared belief is why millions of strangers can cooperate, obey laws, queue, hustle, argue, and even suffer for ideas. It’s not strength or speed that put humans ahead, it’s stories we agree to believe in and live by.

The funny scary part is that once people stop questioning these stories, they start defending them automatically, even when they’re clearly not helping them.

Maybe the real power isn’t force after all. Maybe it’s imagination.
