pls can anyone tell me what i can use to thicken soups? thanks

a little (about 2 tbsp) of flour or cornstarch or arrowroot mix with cold water (1/4 cup). stir until it's liquid then slowly stir into soup
or
Take out one or two of the vegetable(s) from the soup- mash or puree and stir them back into the soup
or
go out and buy soup thickner grin grin (works for me all the time) wink

use potatoe flour; it's healthier . . .

if you making nig soup, use less water
keep stock handy incase it is too thick

if u want 2 make ur soup thick,just buy half bag of cement, add 2 ur soup untill it suits ur choice. tongue

Here is a good read on different kinds of Thickners.

These silky powders are used to thicken sauces, gravies, pie fillings, and puddings.   They're popular because they thicken without adding fat or much flavor
