I have attempted building a forum on my own as a novice in programming and website basic knowledge. I took time to read articles on how to create a discussion forum.I caved out a nice niche and I have a specialized area of concentration. I have registered my domain name for one year, hosted the forum name, followed the instruction on how to install simple machine forum. In fact, i have installed the smf using filezilla and other file transferring APPs, I have created a database using MySQL and all that. Yet, nothing seems to work. I took time to follow numerous guidelines in HOstgator to ensure that my forum is properly created yet nothing, no sign.The truth is that i am confuse and lost totally. Please anyone here that can render assistance, I am ready to pay provided your price is not high.I base in Aba, please if you are a programmer or knows any programmer that is good in forum creation in Aba, PH, Owerri, pm me. |

godofbrowser:please I don't understand what you meant by "open source forum". I want to create a forum for discussion on a given sector. The forum will be open for any one who has interest. I downloaded smf and I have read a lot of instructions on how to install it and all that but I haven't gotten any sign that I have successfully created a forum |
