Hello dear programmers on nairaland. does anyone know how to programm a pic chip for Running light message display.

U need a programmer(i.e a device which transport ur program into the assembly code or hex code to the micro chip), a programming software,and also the program itself

I know but how do I get these things i.e the Programmer ,and the software. I did not have any idea on programming , so do you know any book or any website that I can get the tutorials for beginners.
