Omo wetin happen na? Anyway on this site there is something called a spybot which usually goes through what a member posts, if it sees too many censored words in a post, it will automatically delete that post, either that or the moderator deleted the post. My qualms with this site is that no one gives you a reason why your post is being deleted so that you don't make the same mistake again.

I was trying to give information to those who seek for it. It's hard for many people to harvest information from the internet today. The problems range from slow internet connections to faulty computers to credit card issues to no access to free downloads and much more. However I am quite aware that information is one of the most useful tool in a developing nation like Nigeria. This is why I have decided to help as many Nigerians as possible.

Downloading:
For your free ebook downloads go to flazx.com(Programming books)
or ebook30.com (All books)
or ebook.katz.cd (Books downloaded by people around the world
However we should be careful of what we download. Because we get many things free, we usually take it for granted. Most books cost from 50 dollars upwards and we should have in mind that we are using something worth 50 dollars, so we should take time to utilize these free resources
Another problem however is that these sites usually refer you to rapidshare or megaupload links
There are sites you can use to download from rapidshare very fast:
The ones I use are: rapidit.info and jidox.com

Free browsing
Another issue is browsing in Nigeria. Although I do not personally like the idea of free browsing, I know that Nigeria is in a development stage and the less privileged need to browse free. For instance one of my friends is a web design expert but he does not have a certification and also he pays his school fees himself from the little money he gets. I know there are more of such people out there. The most common way of free browsing is by using firewall breakers like your-freedom, jondo, ping fu e.t.c
For your-freedom configuration on zain simply use 148.233.239.24 or 67.159.58.19 and port 80 in the proxy config. User server address ems.your-freedom.net (This will automatically select the fastest server for you)

For Mtn I think 91.203.96.125 and port 80 should also work. If it doesn't work use the common one 81.169.136.17 and port 53 with connection mode https in your-freedom. Leave the proxy settings blank.

For phone browsing
You can download any proxy containing the ips listed above or create your own proxy config. If you browse free on the web browser you can also copy your web browser ip and port.
First you can download a proxy creator tool I created for nokia phones. This makes it much easier to create proxy configurations for browsing with opera mini on phone. You just only need to enter the ip, port and apn, send the file to your phone using bluetooth and boom You are done!
The ip working currently for zain is 148.233.239.24 and port 80 Mtn is 90.203.96.125

OP

nairaland is not a warez forum. feel free to start your own blog or sign up with a warez forum where you can post links to any and everything

in the event that nairaland is one day held liable for your antics, you will fade into anonymity while the owner has to deal with the repercussions from business organsations with immense finacial resources  tongue

btw, anyone with half a brain can find links to download anything on the net - i certainly do not need your miserable links to links to links to download anything i'm looking for

edit - just came across this

Lawyers target thousands of illegal file-sharers

ACS:Law said it will be sending thousands of letters to alleged file-sharers of copyright infringement. The lawsuits will go out in the New Year to thousands of suspected file-sharers, asking them for a compromise to avoid dealing with it in court, averaging for several thousand pounds as a settlement.

ACS:Law said each case will be different, based on the amount of illegal copyright material downloaded, ranging between several thousand pounds, but said the compromise will typically be between £300-500.

Jaclyn Clarabut, from Which?, told BBC News that, "A lot are accused of downloading pornography," while other cases will be based on illegally distributing movies, games, and music.

"Many have never heard of peer-to-peer file sharing," said Jaclyn Clarabut, in reference to the 15,000 suspected file-sharers.

ACS:Law recently acquired two high court orders to obtain 30,000 IP Addresses with account details, including their name and address of the account owner, and is in the process of preparing three more court orders.

However, the technology to hide or spoof an IP Address, disguising the users true IP Address, is available on the Internet, which could cause for many consumers to be false accused of file-sharing. Andrew Crossley from ACS:Law said that this does not apply for file sharing purposes.

There are also cases where consumers do not password protect their router, and makes it easy for near-by users to simply connect to their Internet connection and illegally download copyright material.
of course, this cannot happen in nigeria. . .until it happens
