Agents would collect inspection fee, you'd book a viewing appointment. He'd arrive late and take over two hrs. Then you'd show up at the place and the gate is locked. He'd be showing you the interior from the outside, telling you to look closer.

Uyo agents are just village people learning agency work.

The first one I'd ever met showed up in shorts and a t-shirt. Took us to view a place where the kitchen cupboard was 1metre from the ceiling and no light. Asked about the connection and he said "pay first, that one na small thing".

Same agent was to show me another apartment and the relative to the owner told him he couldn't let him through at the moment. The local champion started screaming on the phone, yelling to the top of his lungs saying "Who are you?! I'm a big boy". At the end of the day, I gave the hungry man lunch money.

That was the last time I was normal with an agent.

Good morning brethren, happy Sunday to you all.
Imagine handing an officer ₦50,000 at a checkpoint just to avoid a traffic ticket, only to later discover that the actual official fine for that offence was just ₦2,000.

One time the VIO told me I was driving without a razor blade in my first aid. I told them I didn't know and I'd buy it along the way but they insisted I settled them ₦10k or we go to the office. Yeah, they started preaching about the law being not emotional. They saw I was in a hurry and they wanted to reap where they didn't show.

Normally I don't stop for them on the road.. because there is a standing court order restricting them from being on the road..and if they disobey that, why would I obey them? But the congestion in the traffic was tortoise slow. Like the officer had to call his boss and the boss stood firm reiterating what they wanted. I asked how to pay and he told me he'll call a POS girl closeby..that they don't accept transfer. Lol. I firmly told him I wanted to pay the fine directly to the govt, and I have Remitta and en come bi like then everywhere got frozen. I saw the frowns on their face as I did it via Remitta.

Same thing with the Road Safety and the police. They will always threaten to take you to he office. Why are you scared to go!

Most of it isn't even tomato paste in full. It's mixed. Same with what companies do with Ketchup.

Further to the above link, I decided against eating same beans yesterday.

I was in a rush trying to make that post yesterday, as a result, some details were left out.
— I bought two Mudus of Milk Beans. I had earlier bought two Mudus of Honey beans, but when I got home to cook the honey beans, I noticed it had no taste at all. The Beans is so Neat and clean, but no taste.
— As a result of its lack of taste, I decided to buy the milk beans. Believe me I hadn't heard of these names(Honey and milk beans) until Monday last week.
— While I was picking and winnowing the Milk Beans yesterday, there was no smell. But as soon as I began to cook it, the smell began to erupt. I washed it with cold water four times before parboiling. After Parboiling, i still washed it like five times, still the smell didn't go away..
— I ran to a male neighbour of mine and ask him if he had had such experience with beans, he said no. He advised I threw them away.
I ran to an old woman within the neighbourhood, she said I could eat it. She even tested it. But I said I won't eat.
I threw the parboiled ones away.
I returned the remaining ones to the woman who sold to me. She didn't give me back my money and I didn't want to start dragging with her. Though she promised to do so later.

Please do not care less about your Health. Prevention is better than Cure.

A lot of food items have been adulterated in today's market. Everybody wants to make quick quick money at the expense of the other. Eating banana and plantain now is also risky, even Fufu(Akpu), Palm oil.

The situation is really bad.

Its not just adulterated, its bio food. Product of the seeds from Bill Gates; his GMO produce and this is how they planned to depopulate Africa. Don't believe me, go to the nearest federal hospital near you and observe how many people are dying from abdominal or kidney problems.

Stay away from Tin Tomatoes, packaged food and start to plant your own grains cos majority of the food in rotation now ain't real, just like in the West.

I bought beans too and cooked in it my household but it stank so bad and changed colours. We got rid of the whole lot.

They control your natural resources and food from the North now, so they are winning

Mutual respect is key to establishing networks and dealing with people from different walks of life.

You don't walk into a room with your shoulder high and making assumptions because you deem yourself more occupied or more skilled than others.

Nice piece but one error. The Igbos only received a pound £1 and not £20. And they had their properties stolen from them when they returned especially in Lagos. Eleganza Plaza Apapa is one of them.
