Courage by 2onymontana(op):
Don’t we all get to that place when we begin to doubt ourselves and fall short of the courage and tenacity needed to fulfil our goals and desires. In most cases, after we’ve dreamt those big and beautiful dreams, visualise ourselves at that well established place or position of our wishes fulfilled, we suddenly develop an anxiety rush that undermines any mental courage we need to take the first step towards our desires or persist towaRds our goals. Anxiety is not a bad thing to feel, if felt it in the right way, it could keep us out of harm’s way and cause us to be more careful and purposeful in our undertakings. But the moment we begin to let that part of our brain that cause anxiety totally override the courage centre of our brain it becomes easy for us to begin retreating from every mission and goal we set ahead of ourselves once we feel an element of fear, risk, pain or uncertainty.
The truth is, although everyone probably might suffer some form of anxiety good or bad, courage is the total opposite, some people have it, and some people simply don’t.
But does that mean I’ll let you off here? NO, Absolutely NOT!! ….this is the point where the saying “Practice makes perfect” comes into play, as humans we have the mental capacity to perfect our skills at almost anything we do, once we put our mind to it.. Sportsmen and women at the top of their games practice constantly day and night to remain at the top of their fields, Lawyers, Doctors and many other Professional all operate a “PRACTICE” of their respective professions to keep them fresh, eliminate anxiety and on top of their fields, I’m sure you could think of many more examples yourself …Practice eliminates fear and anxiety and gives us the courage that allows us to take the very first steps through and towards those things we may be afraid of …Start today, you'll never know how easy it might turn out to be unless you nurture the courage to take the very first step, you’ll be surprise, what you terms as boundaries might just begin to fall in pleasant places for you #OurDailyDose
