Please does anyone know what this switch is for? It is located under the steering console by the side before the driver's door. Nothing like that in the owners manual that I downloaded as I couldn't find its manual.

aftermarket switch, installed by previous owner. You will have to trace the wiring backwards to know what it does.

I could remember someone brought a jeep cheerokee to me. He couldn't start the car from the igntion with the aid of the key. He starts with a switch like this just like an okada grin

. You need to trace yours to know what its meant to operate

The two wires from the switch lead to a small box most likely black , if u copy the serial number and paste here I can identify the exact remote for u
