They’re of the abor Acre Plus strain. Of course they’ll do well and they’re disease resistant too. obyback:

Cassie74:just like i promised oga. this is a simple breakdown of how the business was concluded. my total cost is 105,000 my total revenue is 156,000 my net profit is 51,000 total number of birds 110 mortality 5 starter consumed 7 bags at 3450 each. finisher 11 bags 3350 cost of birds 29700 drugs and other mecelaneous items pushed the cost to a total 105,000. i hope this is good enough. i sold them at different price depending on the weight they gained. some where sold for 2000, 1800, 1700, 1500 and the last remaining bird totaling 24 in number (the rejected ones lol) were sold for 1000 each. good night. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Cuteamigo1:What's was the average weight and 18 bags is too small for over 100 broilers. 2 Likes 1 Share |
Re: ... by Turks: 10:06pm On Jun 14, 2018 |
I agree..18bags is more or less what 50 birds should consume within 8weeks give or take. EMMAACHILE: |
Re: ... by Cassie74: 10:27pm On Jun 14, 2018 |
Cuteamigo1: Weldone... Wondering how you fed them with only 18 bags and they were looking very good. Did you give them any other thing apart from the feeds? Hope you will do more birds next time cheers |
Re: ... by Cuteamigo1(m): 5:45am On Jun 15, 2018 |
Cassie74:i gave vitamins which i belive helped in proper feed conversion. hygiene was also fairly maintained, with minimum stress i belive they will do fantastic in weight gain and less illness. i only do this during festive periods because that is the only time you stand to make profit in my market area. anything other than that, most people will be only willing to buy at or below cost of production which is not good for business |
Re: ... by Cuteamigo1(m): 5:57am On Jun 15, 2018 |
EMMAACHILE:my gratest undoing was that i dint weight them. i just separated them into two camps, very big ones and the not too big ones ( resean is because in my area people hardly, infact av never seen anyone buying by weight, they only buy based on how big the bird looks) among the very big one many were sold for 2k to 1800 while the other ones where sold for 1500 last 24 were sold for 1k each because they dint perform well. 2 Likes |

Turks:i hope so. this business is a continuous learning process. what i also gained was more networking to customers who pay better. hopefully next batch, more profit will be made. |
Re: ... by sammorad(m): 6:05am On Jun 15, 2018 |
Cuteamigo1: True talk, I have been following you and I love your last comment, this will not work for the open and mass market where people target to buy for price as ridiculous as 1,200 per bird. You cannot wait for the birds to be 8weeks, your target must be delivering between 5 to 6 weeks of age. Profitability is key in this business. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: ... by Cuteamigo1(m): 6:14am On Jun 15, 2018 |
sammorad:correct. let me be frank with you. open market in my are buy at 900, thats if they are your regular customers or else usually its 800 to 850. its essential people do thier homework before going into this because it can determine whether you make a loss, break even or make profit. 1 Like |

Madam pls can I get this enzyme from you am tired of pspacking litters and have check some major feedmil for the enzyme pls help a brother I use enzymes in my feed, they help breakdown nutrients for better utilisation by the birds, most importantly nitrous that helps form amonnia. Enzymes also keep their stool dry and hard.[/quote] 1 Like |
