1: software developer- knows how develop an app using any language such as c++, java etc
2: software engineer- knows how to develop, scale and also improve an app. They know how to build complex applications. They know how to use algorithms to improve software applications and many more.
So they are two different jobs but software engineer is better

No. Computer science deals with the software aspect such as the bios, windows products why computer engineer deals mainly with the hardware. But you can study computer engineering and still know about programming likewise you can study computer science and know about engineering. If you are going to major into artificial intelligence you will know about engineering and if you are even learning assembly language you will also know about the hardware aspect

Sorry I Meant Software Engineer

intuitively both are same . An engineer solves a problem , a developer solves a problem , the term these days is actually software engineer. As long as you can write a piece of software to solve a problem, both titles can be used for you .

The two titles are the same thing in most countries, but they are interchangeable. Software Engineer though sounds more appealing. I personally wish there was a title like "Computer Scientist". There is a "Computational Scientist" title. But most Computer Scientists with the scientist title are "Data Scientists".

Not necessarily true. Computer Science graduates can be easily hardware engineers as well although Computer Science students don't deal with the hardware aspect of computing as much as Computer Engineers and Electrical Engineers.

I'm sure you have taken a Computer organization course, an operating systems course, and possibly a parallel programming course. All of which deal with hardware (how it works), but not necessarily with the design of hardware. You will learn about sequential circuits in CS although probably not to the same amount of detail as a CE/EE. You learn about boolean logic with circuits as well.

CS is a very diverse field, and Computer Architecture is a huge part of CS.

There's nothing like which one is better.
Most times it's just semantics. Some1 who knows how to code may adopt or be given the nme engineer/developer to add prestige to his job title.
At other times the engineer may be some1 with formal education in software development (bsc,msc,phd ) etc.

So anybody giving advice
If you want to really go deep into programming
Is it computer science or computer engineering you study
I have people saying computer science is too easy and does go deep into it.

Both are good, CE is a bit more hardware oriented and CS slightly more software oriented. But both can fulfill the role of the other.
