Worst that can happen, he will get a bite same as you will get with a dog or a cat.. its not venomous, though I won't be housing one, I believe snakes are better of left in there habitat..

...Lolz especially those that died of snake bite their rice dey get curry well well...why on earth will u keep a snake as pet...beta leave them in their habitat..

I'd rather keep a Lion as a Pet, No no to Snakes... I Love Canines.
