I drive a 2003 Lexus es and sometimes it jerks before it engage on gear 1 at take off after a stop but engage normal if parked for a long while.

The price of a new gear box is over 300k (13 pin,name the local technician named the gear box) and a gear specialist assured me he can fix the gear box for 50k with guaranty to refund the amount if it did not work very well after after rebuilding it.

Am confused,i have never made any major repay on the car and have always made sure i change any part with the original OEM part.

I scanned the car and the error codes we got had to deal with the valve body and i bought a new one and the issue continued and after physical inspection by two different technician the confirm the fiber was burnt and that the valve body is in perfect condition.

I need advice,can the 13 pin gear box be rebuilt and still perform very well or should i buy a new gear box?

Spending N50,000 or N300,000 ?

What a dilemma, the N50,000 comes with a guarantee (hope its cast iron guarantee)?

Spend the N50,000 (but have an allocated N300,000 on standby) ........
