At JosBoy4Lif Hey its a commercial song. It works. I didnt like the way the song ended but its got really strong melody lines which is what people listen to these days. The lyrics are not terrible. I think some of the best classics have the simplest lyrics,  its not about writing complex lyrics its about writing what people can relate to. The song is selling right now and is the only thing that is really holding Beyonce's album together because women can relate. I know what you mean though, music is on a downward spiral but my take is, instead of rolling around in the shit and being sorry for yourself, you try to work with the shit.  My own 2cents.
