Those telling you that computer science graduates end up being jobless should tell you which courses are hotcakes. Boy, go ahead and study your chosen course and make sure you study it very well. Study not only to pass but to understand as well. I wonder what can be more important in this information age. I hope you know that programmers in embedded systems are among the highest paid professionals in the world today. They are also not readily available. Also, there are very few electronics products that don't require microcontrollers. Even an ordinary mp3 player requires one. Disregard all these so called programmers that cannot write a simple assembly level program to blink an LED. Real programmers are very scarce. Also, note, ATBU is a university of technology (federal). So you have a very good chance of becoming a good computer scientist in any of its numerous lucrative branches. My 2cent. |
