Akpos, grandson of Mr Math, came home from school with his examination paper and said,
"grandpa, i've got the second place in my math exam."

"Who got the first place? How many marks did you score?" grandpa asked.

"Emeka, a hostel student, got the first place. He got 4 marks more than me.  Kunle, the class rep, scored the highest in the exam, he got the third place and  scored 4 marks less than me.‎

"That's alright. How many marks did you score?" asked Mr Math.

"Grandpa, if you add the square of Emeka's marks with the square of Kunle's marks, you will get 18464. You may easily find out my marks," Akpos laughed.

Mr Math found out the marks of his grandson from his statement.

adding the equations above and equating it to18464 we will have
