NO

700w x 7hrs =4.9kwh. u need atleast a 7kwh lithuim battery

Special Xmas offer from VALTECH Energy! 24v 7.1kwh lifepo4 lithium battery made with brand new EVE 280k cells of 8000 cycles + 24v 4.2kw hybrid inverter with inbuilt 120A Mppt 6200w pv capacity for 1.750m
u don't need an external charger controller. order 5 or 6pcs of jinko 555w from faouni.
Thanks @valto... I have seen some of your great offers on previous pages, however, the person for whom I asked the questions is so obsessed with well known brands, hence his choice for either Felicity or SRNE due to warranty matters. I will howvere save your contact in case I have someone who don't mind going for not well known brands.

Welcome fellow enthusiast.

1. Get a 48V inverter (3.5kva, 5kva, 6kva) for a 48V battery, especially ones with inbuilt Mppt charge controller.

2. Yes a 5kwh Lithium battery is more than sufficient to run that load especially considering your last note.

3. You're already good to go.

4. Get 2-4 600W (if possible, even higher wattage) Jinko panels. You can get from Fouani if they have in stock, I have 625W ones for sale and it's what I use to run my loads.

Note: I'm completely off-grid (been over a year now) and find even 8 of those specific panels an overkill. My energy needs is about 10 times yours and everything runs on a 15Kwh Lithium battery. The panels are that efficient and as a bonus you save roof space.
Thanks for the response.

Hello great people of Nairaland,
Please any suggestion of a short blade ceiling fan that blows like it’s the end of the world but doesn’t consume more than 60W max?
Standing fans prices these days are ridiculously high
I saw ur post late bt if you haven't purchased that, there is another one that consumes way less, its an ac/dc ceiling fan made by the same company, best purchase av made this year

Please, I am not an installer o... grin, just a student of Solar System knowledge. The person is afraid simply because of his past experience. However, if you don't mind, state what your warranty entails. It is hard to find a vendor like you who can openly beats his or her chest on products without getting people to counter the claims, most especially on a Forum like Nairaland.

From a fellow hisense 1.5 hp user.

- have you used it for 2 - 3 years?
- if yes to above, it may be time to throw it away.

Note, my hisense used to do the whole power savings and still cool the room by about 4 - 5 degrees in the past, consuming between 300 - 600w depending on the compressor cycle. All of a sudden, i realized this mofo ac is constantly on 1.1 - 1.2kw.

Nothing wey i no clean finish, indoor unit, outdoor o, filter o, e.t.c. Eventually called fouani to come check on it, no real diagnosis other than "you know you can't compare when it was new"

In addition, with the 1.1kw consumption, the ac is no longer cooling properly and can't drop the temperature of the room more than 1 - 2 degrees.

Long story short, fouani just delivered my new 1.5 lg ac. They have it in stock now.

HeavenlyBang:
I have a 1.5HP Hisense inverter AC that somehow consumes about 1.25kw.

Does anyone know how to set them to a lower consumption mode?

For example, my LG 1HP AC drops down to about 570w on Gen Mode even at full blast. A feature like that on Hisense would be nice.

I bought this fan some months back and it has started "misbehaving"! It recently developed a mind of its own by going into highest level and coming down to the lowest level. grin It doesn't accept any command from the remote. I don't know if anyone has experienced such or knows a solution to this particular problem.
Anyone? huh

No, it's just about seven months old. Sad to hear that, really. My LG AC is three years old and still performs well and efficiently.

He’s the man bro…I was in a state of delima and frustration when I found this forum to rant about the shi**y battery someone did for me outside this forum and Valto was recommended for me on here and then I decided to give it a shot…It has been the best decision of my life ever since then and everyday I remember him in my prayers for he’s done a really perfect job with zero complaints!

Whatever you do, don't buy lead acid battery. Else rainy season/ cloudy condition will show you pepper.

Use mppt from 60a

2,000w minimum inverter. Sachet inverter should be able to power all the chargers.

3 units of 330w panels should do

Depending on your location, site your panel where sun can begin to reach out from 8am to 5pm. Turn on inverter 8:15am and off it between 5.30 and 6pm.

You will spend up to 1m - 1.5m but you will enjoy it later. If you're charging N150 per phone /N200 power bank is cool biz. Just see your solar system as fixed asset

ZERO Daily operation EXPENSES

No running shop ceiling fan o ... Or anything else dunno how the inverter will fare with the additional load
Do you run a phone charging business?

Was trying to avoid going on the roof but it appears I have no option.

I actually did use a pressure washer but tried to hit it from an adjacent window. Sadly by the time the water travels the distance there's not much pressure left.
More regular but decent washing is better than one, painstakingly squeaky clean wash. Dust will always still settle.

But I’m using 2 panels of 18V VMP on a 60Amps PWM controller, highest I get is 14.8V and 5.1Amps. Can you kindly explain that?

What's your cable size and distance from panels to cc? Panel orientation? So many things can affect PV harvest.

All accessories and down to installation cost.
Clean installation. What's the average load on the system and average runtime you get from the battery?
Is the inverter high voltage PV?

The cable is thick, I am not sure about its size. It’s not more than 5meters panel to CC. Orientation is perfect as sunlight is usually directly over the PV.

I just got a FELICITY CC this evening. I will see if there is any change (the only noticeable thing is that, instead of draining some power from battery during the night-morning time, it rather turns off when the sun is gone), although I won’t be at home tomorrow to observe anything. Maybe by next tomorrow, I’ll let you know how far.

Someone used your battery for an installation my junior colleague was vetting. He was wondering about the brand, I glanced over his shoulder to his screen, saw the name and picture and smiled.

Told him to pass the battery, that I know the seller (or assembler if you may). 👍

Keep the good work, and don't let your brand down.

It's becoming a trusted name.

Instead of just discarding it, why not see if you can replace the compressor by a capable technician? You would probably find a hack to a recurring problem most people would be facing and save more than buying a new AC.

Although you don buy the new AC according to your post. 😂
