Kindly assist.
My Growatt 6kva inverter is not communicating with Felicity 15kwh battery. It only works when set on user defined mode.
Has anyone had similar experience?

This is how I was able to run communication on Felicity FLA48200 battery with a Growatt


Set Felicity battery DIP switch to 10000

Using Felicity comm wire connect the side written "Felicity solar" to the Felicity battery and Connect "1,2" side to BMS port of the Growatt inverter

Go to setting 5 and select Li and use Protocol L04

when we say "glorified MPPT", we mean it's a PWM with MPPT words written on it. A low quality MPPT charge controller is much better sef

I was trying to get to the cell probably I would see a bar code I could scan or see where they write the capacity but this was not possible as all the cells were welded and covered up, not the bolt and nut type. I will try the capacity test next weekend. Below is the final built after combining the two metal case by my welder

I took this very wasteful route before.

Tell him to buy QC 3.0 DC charging modules. If he have patience, order from temu or AliExpress.... But if patience no dey, buy from jiji and have it waybilled to your location

To power it, take it to electrician to soldier live/Neutral wire directly in the back where the pin indicates because the thing gets quite hot with power pin and power pins spoil easily...

So take the charging modules to electrician to soldier live/neutral wire to the back ... Now connect all the wires by polarity to the charge controller or battery and boom ... No need for expensive chargers again

If a charging module burn (very rare) just take it to electrician to repair it.

Don't mind my haphazard method... I connected all the live together and put the neutral I to the socket so I can just pull out the neutral wire to turn off a particular charger.

You can buy wall light switch and call electrician to wire it for you so you can be turning a particular charger on/off by just pressing the switch

It have drum for power input ... The place used to get very hot if too many power banks are plugged into the overall system... So the power pins don't last long.

To bypass the problem, visit electrician to solder live and neutral wires in the back just where the power pins dey

You quote your max budget so those making recommendations would know what to do. Some products are much CHEAPer than the other.

Also specify if you're after NEW or USEd ones.

Heating takes much energy. No way to circumvent that.

Just calculate the heater you have and buy inverter as appropriate.

This is the first confirmation step you still have to check if it’s the stipulated watts, the panel can be original jinko but fake sticker, manipulated watts, anything you see 650 or 750 especially is manipulated watts. So use the generated information to check for the actual watts
