"I no wan talk too much but I gat to say something". Hello Everyone. Here is a Nostalgic piece of mine titled 'Squad Five' #Enjoy.

We no plenty for compound,
But we had a squad.
The connection, love, was more than a bond.
Other pikins across road go dey look from afar,
They tried to be us, but flow below par.
Memories fresh for head just like yesterday.

Na me spread hand like person wey wan fly,
Not for once, was I quiet or shy.
Na me dey first shout 'Up Nepa'!, I was the P.R.O,
You shout am before me, 5 naira you owe.
Although I too like attention, I like to talk,
My whyning as two-phase blow, you no fit block.

The guy wey put hand for my shoulder,
Was called General Ali.
With his 'lenge-lenge' stature na baba for'gidigbo',
He dey deal with anybody wey e two head sure for am.
But he mess too dey smell and he no dey admit,
Just to dey frown face dey go with his torchlight eye.

The guy wey dey the edge of the right,
Was called Mr 'Kokoli'.
Na for junction he mama dey sell koko and akara.
So anytime we hungry, we go there to order.
But he too like argument,
'Kokoli' stubbornness no dey gree.

Directly posing at my back,
Was called 'Presido'.
Na him know book pass, he mama na teacher.
Na because of assignment we give am presido,
Make he head for dey swell anytime we call am.
But he too dey slow, everything na 'jeje'.

Now to the 'olori' of the squad,
She was always very shy.
As she no dey follow us enter trouble,
She had a way of bringing us out,
We taught her how to be a goalkeeper,
But she dey always leave post for shot.
