When people like you make loose canon statements that you and i know will only lead to more chaos for your peps. I bet that JTF will give you the fight that you are so much looking for. ![]() Lets see who will loose at the end of the day. stiyke:They aren't running, it's just that Jos was a huge miscalculation by the almajiri's. You see, the potential of the army splitting between Christian and Mulsim, Core North and the rest of Nigeria is a much worse prospect to their planners than having to hang ND people to protect the bunkering operations of ex-generals. The bulk of the army comes from Benue and Plateau states. Benue state provides most of the lower cadre, while Plateau state has produced a lot of generals (Langtang mafia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langtang_Mafia). . . Not nice, coupled with the other issue's in Nigeria, even nasty. There are many reasons why the Arewa Consultative Forum seem to have suddenly torn off the bigotted blindfold and gained sight to read the tea bags, they are now singing a radically different tune from their past chauvinistic outings. |

@Beaf This is realpolitik and those who do not understand it will never understand. Anyway, lets hope this becomes a permanent feature on the part of ACF, in which you can never find an Almajiri as you understand the word. It is elitist and of course represents the face you do not want to see. Honestly, \i just wish everyone comes to his senses and we all do the right things this year. Nyway, happy new year. |

The apparent disarmament and amnesty of the Niger Delta's indigenous fighters, by the Yar Adua government, seemed to be a masterstroke of diplomatic conflict resolution at the time, bearing as it did the promise of engendering lasting peace in Nigeria's cash register oil fields, but those heady days faded into memory once the dogged campaign of strategic sabotage against crude oil production infrastructure resumed with a vengeance in the Delta. The refusal of Nigeria's power-monopolizing elite to immediately install Delta native Vice President Jonathan Goodluck as the acting head of state while ailing President Yar Adua was away from his duty post has had the predictable effect of enraging the sons and daughters of the Niger Delta, which in turn resulted in the recent declaration of war on the Nigerian state by Niger Delta militias. Hopes of lasting peace so tantalizingly close mere months ago, are now vaporizing like the morning mist, replaced once again by the familiar chatter of light arms, the boom of demolition charges, and the smell of oil and death in the air of the Niger Delta. |

citizenY:Happy new year citizenY. I think its too late and the wheels are finally coming of the car. . . Except there is intensive fire brigade action. . . |

@Beaf, Please refer to Jakumo's post above. I say ma broda dem don shit for church. In the process of protecting Yar'adua and by extension their interests, they have forgotten to keep the fire burning by honestly pursuing the dialogue in the ND. This is what I meant by doing the right things. These guys have messed up the whole thing. Common sense should have prevailed from day one. I am not sure this fire brigade get hose not to talk of fire engine. Where do they start from and will ND trust and listen to Goodluck? The guys you have there are clueless. This amnesty has been championed entirely by the executive arm and the legislature has been very inept by not taking the initiative to solidify the effort. Now we have a clueless FEC and sleeping lawmakers. Who will lead the initiative. I can only hazard a guess and say civil society groups. Maybe there will be two Aaron teams now. Nigerians should forget about these guys and initiate solutions on that level. Just thinking |
