I really feel for Adeosun, but it takes more than pretty face and Queen's English to be a finance minister- in a country like Nigeria.

Clearly a Ministerial intern she is one of the reasons seasoned economists and political analysts scored this useless APC's government low since her appointment. She got no guts, class and the savvy expected of her to excel in her field. She acts most times like a mistress than a seasoned accountant as she was painted. You can tell from her mien that she is being teleguided to act a particular script of defending any bullshyte from this administration and just come up with bogus and ineffectual policies with her psychotic submissions laced with one mumu British accent. Yes she is an intern.

Hausa-Fulani and Yorubaas have destroyed this country...they are just scattering everything like a baby. Fashola and Lie Mohammed are even worse. Compare these unqualified quota system charlatans to GEJ exemplary technocrats.

The thing is Yorubaas know this and they will keep quiet. This is something I don't like about Yorubaa people...they know something is wrong, but they will keep quiet. For Goodness sake, they are more qualified technocrats of yoruba extraction scattered around the world, why must it be her? I'll support Dr. Olusegun Aganga anyday, anytime for president or minister of Finance. He is thoroughbred technocrat who worked under Jonathan.

There was never any doubt that the next woman to be appointed Minister of Finance after Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala would have to fill some big shoes.
More impressive than Okonjo-Iweala’s resume, was her performance as Minister of Finance, to the extent that some of her policies have been appropriated by the Buhari administration as part of their own achievements.

Well no matter; what is more urgent is why Adeosun after two years in her exalted position is still unable to craft sound economic policies or worse, refrain from ridiculous statements that portray her as a Ministerial intern rather than a Minister of Finance.

Or how else can one explain her latest announcement at the PWC’s Business School last week that the Federal Government had decided to tax some beggars whom according to her were earning millions? (dailypost.ng).

How they plan to determine the ‘rich beggars’ from the ‘poor beggars’ is beyond me but what is truly amazing is that a graduate of the University of East London, who knows very well what the welfare system is all about in developed economies, can make such pronouncements.

Nigeria is presently the only country showing up on Google’s search engine as a country where beggars will be taxed
