A Salaried Employee is like a dog chained to a pole.
He revolves at the axis of the pole with much energy and pride
He seems free but is ACTUALLY LIMITED
He seems owned but HE is NOT TRUSTED
He sees far and wide but CANNOT VENTURE FAR
He is not a slave but his time, thus life, has been sold to another
He defines himself in relation to the owners of the chains and poles - I am A Manager with XYZ Bank!
He causes much motion but he himself really hardly benefits- His benefits are limited and scaled down
He alone does not know he is chained
Whatever He is given has been measured by someone else and is just sufficient to keep him alive so he could run around the pole (Bingo & his food bowl?)
After a while he measures his life in terms of the pole and chains- Promotion and salary?
After a while he thinks its the best way to live- He has been too long in captivity he thinks its normal!
After a while he needs and depends on the chain more than it needs him
After a while he is not fit for freedom-so he cannot go off on his own
After a while he no longer can see beyond the chain and pole
After a while he gets used to going round in circles!
He fits in very well just like all the other dogs chained to the other poles
Sadly though, He just might choke on the chain!
Truly, a dog is just a dog, that's all no matter how it is shaped, pampered and what it is wearing!
Surely a dog in chains belongs to someone and that is what the chain is meant to signify!

Surely you are not the Dog or a slave!

Sure you need the chains for a while but do not let it be all you ever knew on earth- do not die a Slave or Bingo!
