Hello everyone,

i have a problem with my laptop,i tried putting it on only for it to display the dreaded blue screen of death. Well, i decided to use my win vista dvd,i tried recovery and repair but they both produced error messages. So i decided to reinstal the OS, but the process paused at "expanding files".After much waiting, i canceled d installation to insert another bootable win vista dvd that what i got the two errors

cdboot: memory overflow
missing bootmgr
press ctrl alt del to restart

i need help please,is the a solution,is my del vostro laptop history? Is there a bootable cd(software) that i need to get? Thanks

1. check your cd/dvd drive, try your recovery steps again.

Well,i dont think thats a big problem.Its just a question of if u are using a good Vista Cd for the recovery.Anyway,i can help you out.I also work at Ikeja as Computer Engineer.

Its actually an original vista cd.i think the problem has to do with the dvd drive & vista dvd. Before it happened i couldnt successfully copy contents from a disc or install,while same disc work with other pcs. What is your recommedation,please or do you know of a place(dell care centers) where i can fix it! Thnks
