Computer Programming Instructor - Part time

A top coding boot camp in Nigeria has an immediate opening for a Computer Programming Instructor who will provide a 100% practical and job-oriented approach of teaching to deliver an approved curriculum through lecture and “hands-On” instruction to students and evaluate their knowledge according to best practices

Minimum Requirements:
The candidate must have at least B.SC in Computer Science and at least 4 years of experience in the Software Development field. Must have a deep understanding of PHP. Candidates must submit to an interview process, including some few minute demonstration lessons.

Responsibilities:
• Presents materials from approved curriculum
• Motivates Participants to actively participate in all aspects of the learning process
• Show evidence of adapting and differentiated instruction ( a bit of personalized teaching ability) for all participants for holistic growth
• In addition to subject matter tutoring and teaching, this position includes significant student mentoring

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Knowledge of web applications design ( HTML, CSS, Bootstrap Classes, JavaScript, Jquery) (for User Interface Design/Programming)
• A good understanding of Server side Programming language (PHP), and PHP coding framework, Database Design and Modelling Using ER Diagram, MySQL and AJAX Technologies
• Solid knowledge of Object-oriented programming concept
Other Skills

• Excellent written, verbal communication, and reporting skills
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills
• Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material.
• Proven educational experience in critical thinking and problem solving
