The delay in the release of result for JUPEB 2021 created dilemma for prospective candidates seeking admission into the University Of Ilorin and who had wished to upgrade to DE when the results come out favorable.

This delay caused candidates to register for PUTME of Unilorin in order to beat the deadline hoping for upgrade as allowed by JAMB.

The JUPEB result was released to Candidates starting from Monday 31st January 2021 with many of them having excellent points worthy of merit admission into various courses as chosen by them.

The unfortunate part of the whole scenario is the insistence of the JUPEB Director for Unilorin in the person of Prof L. A . Usman that he would no longer allow any candidates to do Upgrade to DE and that JAMB had been instructed to decline any [b]Upgrade [/b]requests on her porter into Unilorin.

This is an appeal to the amiable and Godly Vice Chancellor to please be merciful to this students so that their efforts shall not be in vain and their morale not dampened.
