Hi all,

I am creating this thread for people who are interested in learning all about Linux as it relates to System Administration and Linux Engineering.

This is NOT a thread for people who are only interested in the GUI aspect of Linux.

We will be going deeper into the GNU coreutils package in three parts:

1. Utilities for handling files

2. Utilities for manipulating text

3. Utilities for managing processes

If you are a newbie to Linux, you can join in as well. We will start from scratch and build up to advanced.

It is recommended that you have a Linux system up and running.

If you would like to install Linux on your computer or install it as a virtual machine on your PC, please watch out for the steps on how to do that shortly.
